KARATE NI SENTE NASHI

A basic and very essential part karate training. It means that karateka must never attack first mentally or physically. To understand this fully years of hard correct training are needed.

As the karateka grows in stature so also will grow their good manners and etiquette, outwardly and even more importantly, inwardly.

All karate training must be intense and with purpose.

Correct Dojo etiquette and discipline is essential.

(Karate begins and ends with courtesy)

KARATE-DO

Except in the defence of life or limb, karate techniques must never be used outside the Dojo, because they can be extremely dangerous.

The purpose of karate training is to develop and maintain health and strength, both physical and mental, to teach good manners, self discipline and mutual respect between karateka and others, and also to encourage decency and respect between all members of society.

Karate training is endless, because every technique can always be improved upon. This includes modesty and a strong intellectual stature.

THE ART OF KARATE IS A NEVER ENDING QUEST FOR PERFECTION OF DEVELOPING THE SPIRIT AND THE BODY TO DEFEAT ONE’S OPPONENT.... ONES’SELF
